The Colleges of Excellence were established by the Government of Saudi Arabia to address the
Kingdom’s urgent need for an increase in the number of well-qualified, highly skilled employees
available throughout the country. Established in 2013, the Mecca College of Excellence helps
meet Saudi Arabia’s demand for new workplace entrants who have high-quality, internationally
respected vocational and technical qualifications, and a firm understanding of the demands of
the modern workforce.
